Rockin’ Derby

This alt ctrl game was developed over a four month process with a prototyping phase, alpha dev phase, beta phase, and gold phase.

• Scheduled production through Miro.

• Lead stand up meetings and delegated tasks every work day.

• Acted as Creative Producer providing ideas and feedback for artists.

• Coordinated assets and discussions between Art, Engineering, and Design.

Development Phases

Prototype

Team of 6. The game was initially pitched by lead artist Zachary Walk as a single player jousting game. That turned into a multiplayer, individual track racing game based purely off of speed. The hardware did not allow for specific enough velocity so we pivoted from there.

Alpha Phase

Team was expanded to 12 people
